Experience Day for Young Archaeologists
Can you find all the “fossils” hidden in the sand? In front of the House of Senses, you can dig for the many objects buried in the sand. You record your discoveries – just like a real archaeologist – on a finds sheet. As a reward, you will receive a certificate. The necessary tools are available at the museum ticket desk.

House of Nature
Let the staff guide you through the exhibition. The diverse and varied permanent exhibition in the “House of Nature” speaks for itself, but it is even more enjoyable when staff members accompany you. They provide a clear storyline and highlight fascinating technical, artistic, scientific, or interactive details.

Mindfulness training
with children
In this activity, children learn to experience mindfulness in a guided way. They are supported in becoming more aware of themselves and of nature. It offers a chance to unwind together with other children and enjoy a moment of relaxation. This activity is offered on a donation basis.
